Our Process

North Carolina Solutions’ specialized staff offers a variety of services for children adolescent’s adults and their family members/life partners.  Staff composition is multidisciplinary, including psychologists, social workers, behavior analyst and psychiatrist under the direction of a medical director. A point of entry service for new or returning clients is used for assessing and individual’s need and scheduling an initial appointment with the professional best qualified to meet those needs. Individuals may also be assessed and referred to a local hospital, a crisis stabilization unit a state hospital school-based services or a home-based service when available.  Emergency services are available at all clinic locations during normal business hours.  The crisis and information line will assess the need for emergency car during hours offices are closed.

Services offered include a 24/7 crisis and information line, psychosocial and psychiatric assessments early childhood evaluations, individual/family/ group therapy, emergency evaluations, referral/coordination services, behavioral intervention, post hospital follow up/stabilization, consultations, community education, and intensive in home children services.

Behavior programming includes but is not limited to anger management, anxiety/depression, attentions deficit disorders, autism, abuse victims, bipolar disorder, parenting, eating disorders, grief, marital/family conflict, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic attacks, post traumatic stress, schizophrenia, and stress management.

Behavior Management Program includes:

Behavior Consultations:

  • Addresses behavior issues such as potty training, aggression, elopement, sleeping, etc.
  • Functional Behavior Assessments in the natural environment conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Comprehensive Behavior Intervention plan is created
  • Parents/caregivers are provided with hands-on training
  • For all ages (both children and adults)

Home-Based Programming:

  • Initial Comprehensive Skills Assessment completed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • A learner profile is developed
  • BCBA implements and monitors the language-based home program
  • For children of all ages
