North Carolina Solutions provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) assessment and treatment to children and adults diagnosed with autism and other developmental delays who exhibit challenging behavior and/or skills deficits. The guiding philosophy of North Carolina Solutions outpatient services is to provide the highest quality behavioral health care for individuals and families, helping them achieve results that last a lifetime.

Our staff utilize Best Practices and are trained in Applied Behavior Analytic Principles to provide services to children and adults diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. Children receive services in our site-based clinic as well as in-home training. Adults receive specialized consultative services (SCS) in the home, residential placements, day program centers, and in the community.

Our staff assists children in the development of communication, independent living skills, and social skills while working to extinguish maladaptive behaviors. Our applied behavior analysis program provides individualized treatment for every child.

Additionally, clinic-based services offer in-home parent training to generalize effective treatments so that parents, siblings, extended family members, and others may maintain therapeutic effects for the long term after the patient is discharged.

North Carolina Solutions added a new service in November 2020 offering Psychological Evaluation and Assessment by our licensed psychologist (LP). Specifically, we welcome adults and children in need of cognitive assessments, autism evaluation, assessment of developmental delays, or adaptive skills functioning.
